Well, it has been a minute since I popped into your inbox!
I don't know about you, but January was a chaotic disaster. We had COVID go through the house, and it took most of the month and some of February for us to all get back on our feet.
February was nonstop with kid activities, and I was busy working on my website. I cannot wait to share when it is finished; it has so many resources for you!
And then, before I knew it, we were on spring break!!
I was going to wait until everything was completed, but I wanted to share something special with you today.
But first, a brief announcement...
For those of you who have signed up for my newsletter (not via Substack), you probably won't care much about what I have to say at the beginning of this, so feel free to scroll to the end =)
This will be my last "official" post on Substack for a while…
Here's what happened--if you have been following along here for a few months, you know that I took a bit of an extended pause, a nourishing and sacred time to get clarity on how I wanted to do things moving forward, plus be present with my family during the holidays...then as mentioned above, the sicknesses hit, and after spending *way* too much time on the apps and consuming content (even content I truly love). I realized what nourished my soul, what brought me creativity, and what I wanted to do to share my gifts and passions in this world...specifically, how I show up and share in this online space we call the internet.
My goal has always been to provide simple, practical resources that nourish your body, mind, spirit, and soul. I want to see mamas all over get clear on their desires, improve their mindset/mental wellness, and be directly connected to their divine intuition and God.
You know by now that our inner world reflects the outer, so it is essential that we take care of ourselves (in the simplest, least overwhelming way possible) so we can care for those we love, show up as our fully embodied selves, and teach our children to do the same.
To practice what I preach, a big part of this *for me* is spending less time on platforms with social aspects, leaning more deeply into the creative process, and fueling my soul so I can show up and have resources that can make a difference for my subscribers.
I have always been as transparent as possible in this space, which is why I share this decision with you today. It is not that I don't like Substack; it is a great, quiet, social-ish platform compared to what else is out there, but this is not where I want to grow or share every week fully. If I did, I would have been able to make more of an effort to show up here. Instead, I found myself being wildly creative when I did not have my inner pressure to show up here, diving into the website creation process and coming up with new resources that matched more of what I envisioned for my newsletter/membership/courses(etc.)!
More on that in the following newsletter!
You will soon see one more announcement email shared via Substack with all the new updates!
My other email server will send the regular email series, posts, updates, and resources.
I want Well-Rooted Motherhood to have a particular vibe. I want you to feel like you are entering a virtual retreat where you can calm your mind, breathe without being overly stimulated, and find peace and inspiration for your health, home, and family. After trying so hard to create that behind the scenes (and sometimes via the newsletters), I could not get it to click the way I wanted here. I also scrolled too much on Substack, no matter how hard I tried to set boundaries.
I have needed to stay focused on my mission and what I know I have been called to do (for a long time now), and I have to do it in the way that is the most authentic because that is when I know I can make the most impact in my work to support you!
That is not to say that I don't enjoy the other writers here (I will still be reading a few of your letters) or that I won't show up more later on (for example, maybe I will start to use Notes as a social network one day, because I don't use any others ones and Notes, is more my speed, just not for now). I may decide to share longer pieces of writing in this space down the road. I may even pop back on Instagram in a year or two, but for the most part, my goal is to focus on my members, and I can do that *a lot* better in my little corner of the web!
Much trial and error is involved in the sharing/creative process, so thank you for your patience as you stuck by me while I sorted this out over the past year! I am truly thankful for every one of you who has signed up to be part of this community, and I am *so* excited to share all of the things that I have been working on BTS!

Now, on to some seasonal nourishment!
The Promise of New Beginnings
Spring is undoubtedly starting to make its appearance here in the South. I love spending time soaking up the sun outdoors as a family. I love the renewed energy I get as a mom to clean out and organize, and I don't know about you, but I feel more motivated this time of year to stick with health goals, too! The days are longer and brighter, more hope is emerging, and we are starting to lean into taking action toward those desires and intentions we first set in the New Year.
Last year, I created a guidebook for one of my favorite seasons, and with spring right around the corner, I have re-released it for the next few months! If you have read any of my other posts, my about page, or downloaded guides, you have probably seen me mention how seasonal living holds a special place in my heart. I need help to slow down and stay in the present. I tend to ruminate, worry, and have trouble living the intentional, slower lifestyle I desire. But when I started to explore how leaning into each season, rather than fighting against them, can help us with our daily rhythms, I also realized just how much our bodies and minds are intimately connected to the natural world around us, and by living in harmony with the seasons, we can improve our wellness. Which is how seasonal living became a foundational part of Well-Rooted Motherhood.
The Seasonal Homemaker Collection: Spring Guide!
A mother's guide to living and learning in the rhythm of the seasons!!
I created the Spring Guide to help you cultivate a nurturing home environment that promotes wellness. It offers practical tips and strategies that align with the renewing energy of the spring season.
One of the unique features of this guidebook is its focus on maternal wellness. As mothers, we prioritize the needs of our families above our own, but as I have stressed numerous times in my writing, self-care is not selfish—it is essential for our well-being. Inside this guide is a dedicated section with tips and strategies to improve whole wellness: body, mind, soul, and spirit. From simple mindset exercises to easy-to-follow meal plans, these wellness activities will help you feel rejuvenated and support you in completing all of the things you want to do this season with more ease.
But that's not all—this guidebook has tons more for you to enjoy, including spring-themed activities and ideas for you and your family to enjoy together. From crafting projects to seasonal recipes, there's something for everyone in your household to love. Each activity I picked for this guidebook is designed to support you in building more intentional moments with your family, but without stress or spending money, since I know most of us have a tighter budget to work with these days.
